Dead Engine Kids, The Book : This is the site of John Briol, who promotes a diary his father, John J. Briol wrote while flying on B-17s during WWII. John Briol was a ball turret gunner. There are few written accounts of this particular position. The pilot, co-pilot and toggalier have added their comments to selected missions. The work was edited by, John F. Welch, Col. USAF ret. Colonel Welch flew combat missions in WWII staying with the air force through the vietnam war, where he earned the distinguished flying cross.

State-level Casualty Lists from the Korean Conflict (1951-57) : The Center for Electronic Records of the US National Archives and Records Administration provides this set of US casualty lists from the Korean Conflict. The list covers "persons who died as a result of hostilities in Korea, 1950-57, including those who died while missing or captured." CER has created state casualty lists from the larger list. The lists can be browsed by state, and then alphabetically by last name or 'home of record,' as identified by the serviceman upon last entrance into military service." Army casualties list home of record by county within state. The other three branches of the military list by city/town within state. Each record contains the soldier's name, rank, branch of service, home city/town or county, state, date of death, and cause of death. At present the database contains 33,642 names.

Complete Home Medical Guide : The Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons provides the Third Revised Edition of this resource, originally published in 1985. The book is divided into 34 chapters in six major sections. Chapters include understandable explanations of the topic, and selective descriptions of diseases or abnormalities.
Confronting Cancer Through Art : "Confronting Cancer Through Art" is a unique exhibition that gives vision and voice to the experiences of all those who have confronted cancer. This juried exhibition includes nearly 200 works by 112 artists. This is one very valuable resource for those who wish to speak out!
